May 2009

May was a very eventful month for our family. My dad received his bone marrow transplant and did well with that. He was released from the hospital on June 3rd and it planning to go back in for his second transplant on August 12th. He is enjoying his time at home and regaining strength by the day. We are all very proud of how well he did. May included the Mini marathon, pool time, lake time, and many playdates. We had a great month and here are some of the highlights...

A group of friends from Ohio came and completed the Mini Marathon (13.1 mi.)

We have enjoyed time in the pool at our apartment complex
