1 Month Old

We went to the doctor this morning for Claire's 1 month check up and she weighs 10 lbs 8 1/2 oz. and is 22 3/4 inches long. The doctor said she's growing like a weed! Here are some pictures we've taken over the past couple of weeks. Will post pictures from the baptism soon!
We took our first tub bath - she loves the water!

We found a new favorite place - laying flat on the coffee table!

She loves to stretch after a nap :)

Another new favorite position discovered by Pete

Two Weeks Old...

Little Miss Claire is a little over 2 weeks old and we thought we'd let you know some of the things we've been up to. We went to see the doctor today and she now weighs in at 9lbs 6.75 oz and is 22 inches in length. As seen below, Claire has been relaxing... hanging out with dad...

and taking her very first walk around the neighborhood!

Claire gets to meet a lot of important people this next week. Aunt Beth is coming to visit this next week and later on next weekend, Uncle Keith and Aunt Debbie are coming to visit as well as Grandma and Grandpa Carroll and Great Grandpa and Grandma Kooyers (and many other important family and friends). Claire will be baptized on Saturday. We will plan on updating again after this next weeks festivities!

Home from the hospital...again!

Unfortunately, Laura was having some blood pressure issues on Sunday and had to go back into the hospital for a couple days. Thankfully, we are all back at home today and excited to spend time together as a family... all under the same NON-hospital roof!

More From Our Photo Session

Aunt Kathy (Pete's Sister) came over and did a wonderful job taking some pictures of Claire. Here are some of our favorites...

Party In My Playpen

Thanks for the fabulous outfit, Aunt Beth!

Go Purdue!

We think this last one is her most recent thoughts on Purdue's performance against Xavier :)

Bringing Claire Home!!!

Yesterday afternoon we had the pleasure of bringing our new daughter home to meet Emma and discover her new surroundings. We are all adjusting, but so far so good. Thank you again to everyone who visited in the hospital and please feel free to stop by and visit us at home. Here are a few pictures of our experience.
